I find this a hell of a lot more terrifying .... Seriously guys, never, ever, ever put a CX on a trailer backwards.... You'll crash 'n' burn for sure. there a massively nose heavy vehicle. They'll say enrously ... However will stop swaying onces the trailer and car is upside down on the side of the road. Look how unloaded the rear suspension of that van is
If the wheels in the piccie above are welded together... That's probably quite stable. How on earth did they get it up there though ??

Im just browsing the forum this morning and found this scary pic of shanes above, i wouldnt want to be in the tow car/van thats for sure.
here are couple of pics of when i owned the big familiale for the third time and collecting it on my good friend johns excellent trailer with a big saab towing it. Even this was, i consider, to be a bit of a foolish move on the towing front, but luckily all ended well

Yes indeed, it was a special order from Brian James trailers, it was originally purchased by a Range rOver specialist and he stipulated it must be able to carry a LWD rangie, so perfect for CX estates
Unfortunatly a while back it was stolen by some theiving scumbags, despite being locked and blocked in by other vehicles.
Not helpful.
The big saab 9000 turbo towed it admirably even with a CX estate on the back, but it was happiest below 55mph with that sort of weight. _________________
