Welcome to our happy band!
I don't have a car for you I am afraid but am local to you in sunny Calne.
Good luck with your search.

PM replied to! Bizarre how I have seen your car about!
You might have seen my Audi 80 (C reg), not as unique as the CX but it does get noticed.

|
|
| Well I bought the series 2 safari estate on ebay. Turned out to be a complete bag of bones despite having been assured it had a new engine from Citroën 85000 miles ago. Using 2 pints of water every 50 miles and now the turbo has blown up. Undriveable! Anyone got a cx turbo 2 engine? |

Would that be the "attention to cure an unresolved leaking water problem. " mentioned in the advert?
I decided against a CX and bought a B reg Audi 80 Sport that has done 153k miles, 2 owners, 12M MOT and 6 M tax for £450.
Just needs new ARB bushes (£15 all in) and apart from that hasn't missed a beat and is pretty nippy. |

Careful! Took much confidence!
I will look out for the car around Calne.
We must meet up for a beer one summers evening.
My CX is currently languishing in the garage with a flat battery
You may however see me bobbing around in a green Frogeye Sprite on a K plate.
